You’re going to love travelling with this case, no matter how heavy your gear is or how far you have to go. Tough wheels and a retractable pull handle will make long airport corridors a breeze.
Made for Life on the Road
The wheels on this case are strong polyurethane with steel ball bearings - the same wheels used in good quality inline skates. There is not only a handy retractable pull handle, but there’s also a rubber-grip handle on the front of the case. The case can stand upright on its own.
You can keep your case secure with two sets of stainless-steel reinforced padlock holes. Easy open double throw latches mean you don’t have to fight with the case to get at your gear.
If you have multiple cases in your load, the 1560 stays put thanks to stacking ribs on the front and the back.
The pressure equalization valve means your case will stay easy to open no matter what altitude your destination is. The valve is fully moisture-proof, and won’t promote rust on metal objects.
Rain, Sleet, and Snow...
Speaking of moisture, you’ll be glad to know that the Pelican 1560 laughs at rain, even when driven by intense winds. This case is waterproof even when submerged to a depth of 1 metre (3.3 feet) for up to half an hour (some people have experiences longer).
If the 1560 goes overboard, it float as long as the weight does not exceed 115.00 lbs (52.2 kg).
As Tough as They Come
The Pelican 1560 is guaranteed crushproof and dustproof. It’s covered by the Pelican Lifetime Guarantee of excellence.
- IP67 - interior stays dry when submerged to 3.3 feel (1 metre) for up to 30 minutes.
- STANAG 4280 / Def Stan 81-41 - a series of tests for impact resistance, performance under temperature extremes, and resistance to vibrations.
