Pelican 1750 Benefits
For crushproof and watertight protection for your long gun you can’t beat the 1750. It easily holds 1 average size long gun plus accessories, or 2 long guns without. We’ve also made it as light and easy to carry as possible without sacrificing durability.
Locks Securely So You Can Rest Easy
Whether in your home or on the road, keeping unauthorized persons out of your gear is essential. You can literally put the lockdown on this case thanks to stainless steel reinforcement on the padlock holes.
Durability - You Only Buy a Case Once
There really is no tougher case material you can get than the polypropylene that goes into this case. It’s guaranteed crushproof and meets military standards tests STANAG 4280 / Def Stan 81-41 for impact resistance and continues performance under temperature extremes -40°C/-40°F to 99°C/210°F.
If somehow something does happen to your case, it’s replaced for free thanks to Pelican’s lifetime guarantee.
Easy Transportation Options
The durable polyurethane wheels on this case will help you when you’re trying to manage a lot of cargo, but are small enough to be out of the way when stacked. Loads stay more stable when stacked thanks to ribs on lid.
There are two handles on this case, both with comfortable rubber grips. One handle is opposite the wheels, and the other is at the front of the case for easy carrying. Both handles fold down and out of the way when needed.
You’re not limited to basic black with the 1750 - you also have the choice of olive drab or desert tan.
Let the weather get as rainy as it wants - as long as this case is closed your gun will stay dry. The O-ring seal also keeps out dust as well.
If your case goes overboard, it will float up to a total weight of 189 lbs/85kg. This torture test video demonstrates how waterproof a Pelican case can be - the case shown isn’t the same model but they’re built the same way.
- Meets IP67 - stays watertight when left submerged for 30 minutes at 1 metre depth.
- Meets both STANAG 4280 / Def Stan 81-41 - these are a set of tests for impact and temperature resistance.
